Lichens of the Southern Subpolar Region

This web site is a resource for the investigation of all aspects of the lichen flora of the region between the Antarctic continent and the southern temperate zone. It includes checklists of various regions and island groups, brief descriptions of undescribed taxa, a bibliography, and links to other relevent web-sites.  Currently this information is available only as flat files, but it is being entered into a relational database that will be made avilable and searchable on-line.
