Ascospores: 75-125 x 35-90 Ám; 2-4/ascus

Eighteen collections from upland/mountain rocks on Campbell Island.
Possibly con-specific with northern hemisphere species O. xanthostoma
, which has smaller ascospores, 55-75(-85) × 30-40 μm. Also similar to the arctic species O. rhodoleuca
and O. subplicans
, but both of these have much smaller ascospores (< 50 x 30 Ám) that are 8/ascus.
