Hypothecium: 35 Ám high, purplish (K+ brighter)
Distribution and Ecology: Known only from Campbell Island. One collection from siliceous rock at 1200 ft.
Notes: Similar to M. erratica and M. lapillicola, but with mainly 1-septate ascospores. More material is required to fully characterize this species.
